Add another to the list
I have just started watching Burn Notice. I am now addicted. Damn it, I did not need ANOTHER tv show to obsess over. Granted, I'm only three episodes in, but sarcasm, humor, action, SHARON GLESS, what's not to love. Yes, I start late on tv shows these days. I've had my tv-heart broken too many times these past few years, so I don't start watching shows until they are at least two seasons in or are already complete.
I am currently screen-capping like crazy for the final version of the Epic BoB fanmix before I do the masterpost/post to the various comms. God, it just takes so long but at least there have been some funny results. No one looks diginified when caught in mid-speech and blinking. Granted, none of the caps are HQ or anything, but they'll do.
On "Amazing Race" right now they have two WWI related tasks, one on the battlefield, one with Morse Code and trenches. I am intrigued to see how these work. One thing I do love about "Amazing Race" is the tie-in of, you know, game show and history/culutre lessons. Though, whenever I see anything like The Red Baron all I can think of is Snoopy. Hee. And, ok, one of the people just called the Geramns-shooting-at-them in the field task Nazis, and for the love of god, I know the US education system is bad sometimes but I know for a fact we do teach the difference between WWI and WWII.
I am wishing I had actual cable tonight since The Pacific starts and I don't have HBO. *sigh* I'll have to wait for the dvd-set. The memoirs it's based on are currently on my to-read list.
