I actually remembered it was on this week!
So, in this very special episode of Criminal Minds, we learn that JJ's sister killed herself a long time ago, that the CM writers do the "ripped from the headlines" thing just as much as L&O: SVU and that apparently kids in Wymoing are in to choking themselves and posting videos of it online. Fun.
Seriously, it might be b/c I've missed a good bit of this season, but the episode pacing just felt off to me. Too rushed in some bits, to slow in others, and anyone from a mile away could see that the dad was guilty. And I don't think a school board would a) allow two FBI agents in a classroom with no teacher present and b) allow said FBI agents to go into pretty graphic detail about how a kid choked himself to death. Like, I get it, shock vaule and all, but that just seemed a little out there. Even for Reid.
Penelope was awesome as always, I love the red hair, even though that was probably there last week. The kid (Chris?) reminded me oddly of a high school-goth-MikeyWay and I missed the preview for next week.
I finished watching Band of Brothers and was straight-out sobbing when they got to the Concentration Camp. I'm not going to review until after I finished the book, b/c I am like that, but yeah, nine years later it is still very good.
I started watching John Adams but I am already confused as I am pretty sure good old John didn't live right down the corner from the Boston "Massacre" site. And since I know where the Adams Historical Park is (I pass some of it each day on the train to work) and know where the Boston "Massacre" site is...um, it's not just right around the corner. There are whole miles in between the two. But, whatever, hollywood, I guess.
