oh, travel
Back in New England, there is still snow on the ground, but at least they managed to clear the sidewalks off this time around.
Note to self: Never travel the day after Christmas ever again.
Also: I saw Sherlock Holmes last night as a last hurrah with the family. I enjoyed it. It dragged in some spots, and you did feel the length of it, but there was intellectual dealings and humor to go along with the fighting and big booms. Not as much of an action-movie as the trailer tried to make it, but very well written Holmes and Watson banter and acting all around. I am also positive that fandom is going to explode like never before.
I did finally see HP: HBP and, yeah, I wasn't as pissed off as I thought I was going to be, but it still took me the better part of three days to finish the film.
Now to rest and settle down with the many, many lovely books I got on Christmas. So many lovely books, I do not know where to start. Me, a book addict? Perish the thought.
