Brrr
So, fall is def. here now. It is in the low 40s outside, going into the 30s tonight, which would not be a problem at all if the landlords allowed us to use our radiators, but not for a few more weeks yet. Which I'm pretty sure means my apt is colder than the temp. outside. Yay for blankets, and warm socks, and warm pjs.
Work was eh today. I don't really get why this is a federal holiday, since it is essentially a holiday celebrating the death, massacre, complete destruction of many cultures but hey, at least the banks get off!
I have decided I will NOT be going to The Gaslight Anthem concert on saturday. It makes me sad that I won't be seeing them, but I am not crazy about the other three bands on the bill, so I figure I will save that $20 for something else.
Still cold right now though. I think I shall make some fries. Or some pasta. Or some muffins. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy and cold though, so maybe I'll save the pasta for then. I do need to get my ass out of bed and make something, but it is so warm here. It almost makes me miss the stuffy air of cubicle world.
On ET right now they are showing something of Russell Crowe's Robin Hood film. Eh. Nothing really tops Robin Hood: Men in Tights for me. Will I see this one when it comes out on dvd. Probably. It has Queen Cate in it, and I love her so.
Now to relax, decide on food, find warmer socks, and do some writing/reading.
