Oh, the joys of tagging
First off, finally posted the next chapter of ajb, but hey, that's two chapters in two months. I might just finish the damn thing before the end of the year. Woot.
Second, I have spent most of the night going cross eyed tagging Talithax's Purtiy Control/Forever Pure arc into my delicious. I'm not even halfway through "Phoenix." I have it all saved on word documents, but sometimes you just want a quick link and this way I have all the chapters with their own entries. I know it's a Weiss story, and a SideB story, but I truly adore her original characters most of all. It makes me sad that she doesn't write anymore. Her, scribblemoose, and nekojita are the only ones I still really read in Weiss fandom. But Talitha is one of the few who did/does SideB and I love Chole and Free.
Third, normally I watch Disney movies when I am having a craptastic day. I shall still do this. But now that I have SPN's "Yellow Fever" on dvd, I shall watch that over and over again, if only for Jensen Ackle's "Eye of the Tiger" bit at the end. Seriously, watch it and laugh your ass off. Also, four seasons of SPN gag reels will make anybody happy.
While there on youtube, you should so watch/listen to the following songs:
Florence + the Machine, Drumming Song. Ignore the crazy ass video, just love the song. Though I really would love to know what the pitch was for that video.
Take a live version of their song Howl as well.
Give a watch/listen to Ladyhawke's My Delirium which reminds me of A-ha's "Take on Me" video wise. I love any dance song with a kick-ass guitar riff.
If I could find a decent live version of it, there would also be a link here to The Gaslight Anthem's "Miles Davis and the Cool." If you have LastFM I encourage you go take a listen. The boys are coming back to Boston in Oct and I am very tempted to buy tickets.
I did venture into the city today in search of sheets at TJ Maxx. I did not find sheets, but I did find socks, two shirts, and two picture frames. I think I will just have to order the sheets from Target. I'm not picky about my bedclothes and tend to go with "cheap" over anything else. Well, Cheap and Not Fuck Ugly. Anyway, the city was packed. And there were tourists in fannypacks and Tricorne hats. This makes my soul hurt.
Time to get back to tagging. Then back to writing. I have a slew of one shots to do, some more writing on the huge megafic of doom, then the next ajb chapters.
