I may or may not have started watching True Blood even though I cannot go near the books as they are forever associated in my mind with the evil roommate who basically made me never want to have a roommate ever again. Ah, senior year of college, how fun you were.
Still, this can only end badly.
In other news: I think the next AJB chapter may be ready to post before I fly out on Wed. That will be two updates in, like, one year. I hope no one dies of the shock. I've pretty much forced myself back into writing by re-watching all the LotR films and re-reading The Hobbit, Unfinished Tales and now Lord of the Rings. It's been a Tolkien-fest these past few weeks, but at least some writing is getting done.

In a completely random note, and something that will probably only be of interest to Holley and aduial_peredhel:
As I go through my large cd collection and change things into mp3 format, I have stumbled over all my fav. tracks from my own undergrad years, 2002-2006. Upon reflection, Hoobastank's Running Away reall sort of fits Alec and Seregil in Stalking Darkness before the big reveal. ::sighs:: I need to go back and re-read The Nightrunner Series before the next book comes out. Good times, good times. I wish there were more series like this. Good fantasy, amazing world, lovely cast of characters and many characters of many different genders and backgrounds in loving realtionships.
