One thing I love and adore about NCIS is that after all these seasons, new episodes still end with me going all dropped-jaw and saying "well, damn." Also: I love any episode with Franks.
Really, it amazes me that the show has managed to keep and even improve in quality this far in.
Still re-watching CSI. I really do need to start watching the new episodes, esp. since Laurence Fishburne is pushing to have Gina Torres on the show for an episode. That would be so great, as I so adore her.
That's one thing I love about CSI, NCIS and SGA: all the recurring characters that you come to love and adore. CSI fans can tell you about how they get excited whenever you see or hear of Archie, Bobby Dawson, Mandy or Jacqui. Or the cops like Vartaan (oh, so nice looking). SGA fans formed bases around their love for Zelenka, Lorne, and Chuck among others. There are not many recurring characters to love on NCIS, but Franks is one of them. Paula Cassidy was another (the episode where she died still makes me cry every time I watch it.) Grey's had it with the nurses, but I haven't watched the show in a while, so I don't know if they are back. I love those minor characters and my love for them even passes into the novels I read and my own writing. (Tirnion, anyone?)
In other news: Mother nature still sucks. Did not got to class today. At least I few less sick. Will be going to work tomorrow unless the South Shore falls into the sea or something.
Also, shallow observation from re-watching CSI: Damn, it is so nice when Nick runs. Seriously, George Eads has one of the best ass/legs combo in all of tv-land.
