Home for the Holidays
In CLT. Made it out of Boston before the snow started, which, from wbztv.com I understand is now pouring down. I'm sort of bummed b/c it's the first big snow storm of the season and it's the fluffy snow, but I would not want to deal with a foot of fluffy snow nor the second storm set to hit on sunday. I'll take the nice, warm, 70 degrees in CLT.
Holiday travel was insane, esp since everyone was trying to get out of the Northeast before it all started. But now I'm home, safe, with the dogs and the cats, in a t-shirt and sandals, about to eat some Chick-fil-a and watch some History Channel. Life does not get much better than this, the time of the simple pleasures.
