Meeting with landlord tomorrow to discuss the situation. That should be interesting.
Spent the day trying to clean up the apartment after the up-ending of yesterday. Still no sign of the cards so I am going to have to lean a lot closer to "physically stolen" as opposed to "bills taken out of the trash."
Netflix Review Time:
Crossing Jordan, Season One, Disc One:
It's been so long since I've seen the first episode of Crossing Jordan. Now, after living around Boston, I find it funny seeing all the real Boston shots blended in with the fake Boston of Hollywood. Take the first episode for example:
The City Hall they show for Boston is, in fact, the Old City Hall, which hasn't been an actual city hall since 1969. Granted, I understand the change. City hall is ugly as all sin, while Old City Hall is a lovely building (and also, now a steakhouse).
Doctor Who Season 2, Disc One:
Christmas speical, funny. Actually made it through the whole disc. Interesting to see what happens next. Plus, HHGTTG jokes always get extra points
Doctor Who Season 3, Disc One:
The disc only contains a Christmas Special and no real episode. Kind of a let down. Still no opinion as of yet, though, again, Christmas Special made me laugh.
Death at a Funeral:
Classic Dark British Comedy. Please, go see it. Loved it. Laughed so hard.
It was hotter in Quincy, MA today than in Charlotte, NC. I am not lying. It got up to 99 degrees with a heat index of 105. It was 89 degrees before noon. I stayed inside all day. Tomorrow and tuesday are supposed to be just as bad.
Well, you know what they say:

Back of my neck getting dirty and gritty
Been down, isn't it a pity
Doesn't seem to be a shadow in the city
All around, people looking half dead
Walking on the sidewalk, hotter than a match head

Time to brave the outdoors now. Must send the netflix out and send out postcards for postcrossing (Kansas City, KS, Taiwan, Germany, Protugal, and Finland this time. It's always Finland. Does that whole country belong to postcrossing?)
