Anyone ever read fanfic in which a lead character, one with whom we're supposed to sympathize, has an abortion?

In Harry Potter, In Loco Parentis by Dolores_Crane. Where Hermione does, and the wizarding world slams down on her for it. But so much more happens in that story than this. A pretty amazing epic, and a great Hermione coming of age story.
