This is excellent! I will be really interested to see how far the show can take things without losing balance, but it's not like I mind angsty spies or anything. Are you going to post to the comm, or just wait and make one post with all the prompts you end up writing?

Thanks! My main complaint is actually beginning to be addressed: if Ellie finds out and isn't the only main character in the dark I'll be a lot happier (I don't care about BuyMore). After that they can angst it up as much as they want.

I plan to make one post with links to all the prompts.

oh Sarah--the little detail that slayed me (intentional or not) is that "Sarah Walker" probably isn't even her real name. So this line has a nice twist to it:

She’s going to have to know who Sarah Walker is and who she wants to be. And even though a lot of days that seems as far off as defeating the Ring, as unlikely as surviving a hundred missions, she makes herself believe that it will happen.

Yeah, I thought about "Lisa" etc. but decided that one of the things Sarah is doing is committing to being Sarah Walker, whoever that is.

Thank you! Though I've loved Chuck from the start, I think this season is starting to head into darker territory, which is productive of a certain kind of fic response.
