Ketubah Progress
About time I had some.
I finished the gold leafing last night, laid down the first color, and figured out how I want to paint the rest of it. The current plan is to get the remainder of the base coloring done on Wednesday night. (Tuesday is fencing practice, but only after I go to my annual HOA whine sess ... meeting. Neither is optional at this point.)
Thursday I hope to get the planned shading work done. Then I want to carry the scroll to work to measure and print out copies of the text for text blocks. The English section goes down first on the right left side of the page, possibly on Saturday or Sunday, maybe as late as Monday. By then I hope my cousin will have enough time to help me settle out the spelling and replacement of the seven Hebrew words that need to be changed to personalize the text. I expect getting that on to take the next three days or so. Even if she doesn't, I can start to get the rest of the text down, since all the changes are in the first paragraph.
This project must be done and in FedEx's hands no later than Friday, May 29th, and earlier if I can manage it. And I think I can, if I stay focused.
