I know I already gave you a kind birthday wish on DA, but I can't wish you a good day enough. You are missed terribly, and today, your music will ring louder than ever. I hope you're at peace and I hope you feel all the love that we're feeling for you.
You were and are an incredible man, an incredible artist and and incredible genius. I still live by your quote "love is the soul of genius", and I think I know what you meant by that.
In any case, you've inspired me to keep going with my music. I may not have half the talent you do, but when I read about you and feel your music flow through the air and within my body, a feeling of empathy overcomes me and I cant help but feel a little closer to you. Perhaps someday I'll meet you in person. How would that be, hm? You and I tearing up the streets of heaven together? For a change, it would be nice to have a friend who could actually improv piano riffs with me... who knew what a C chord was even for that matter.
