Soup cures all ailments, for the sake of starting my entry with a noun.
Now then...
I've been suffering the worst case of writer's block I've had in months. I cannot think of any new ideas. Not for writing, not for drawing, nothing. My muse, it seems, has abandoned me.
But fortunately, as there are "be your own boss" self-help methods, I've come up with a "be your own muse" method of restoring your original bliss and inspiration with whatever it is you do.
Think of a person. Any person. Living or dead. Fictional or real.
Then imagine a place. Anywhere. On earth or otherwise.
Now, imagine a time period.
Now you combine the three, and then have your person husking corn with your mother and a Japanese auto dealer.
There you are. Interesting situation. And it sparks up a whole new cloud of "what -ifs" for you to play around with.
Now.... on that note...
I'm Holding a Contest!!!
