thoughts on car sharing programs?
I am thinking about selling my car and using a car sharing program (anyone maybe interested in a '96 outback wagon?). I am considering using City CarShare or ZipCar (FlexCar doesn't have locations near me). Does anyone have any experience using or opinions about either of this programs?
I know they have different rate plans, monthly / annual fees, etc so besides considering this I was wondering if people had any opinions on each of the companies beyond just rates. For example, City CarShare is a non profit.
For what is worth, I don't drive that much but like have the flexibility to drive if I need / want to or need to carry more stuff than I can on two wheels. I also like the idea of being able to use different sort of cars like a Mini or pickup.
