I've been contacted by a recruiter about a job -- writing/editing a company's internal newsletter.

The commute would be not so hot (zomg Seattle to Bellvue on public transit), but hell, that's writing time, ne?

The salary would be much more than I got at the journal. And I could really use an income.

Think good thoughts for me.

That would be kinda a long trip, but yes, plenty of write-time for my cats. Especially since you'd probably be more engaged than you were at the journal (we can hope), and therefore probably couldn't write porn there all day too ^^;

Yay! With both of us with better paying jobs, we could afford to keep living in our nice house! :D

Sankyuu! The recruiter has called a second time, and said he was going to try to set up a phone interview for me. *wiggles*

And yeah, it sounds like there'd be more to do. I mean, I'd hope there'd be more to do, since it would pay more than half again as much. *sparkles*

But yus! Job what would mean affording the nice house! That would be so good. *hopes*

well really, we could afford this nice house if the both of us were being paid what we were paid at our old jobs, right?

More means we could just generally be awesome more of the time. :3 Kiwis, they like having monies. So they can sit on a pile of money and peep happily. And pet it. and then buy itself a pile of shinies, and then still have more monies to nest in >->
