Anybody want to grab some food with me? I'm finding that being at home is a bit lonely after being surrounded with people 24/7 for the last week.

I'm sure this makes me pathetic, given that I've been home for 24 hours and should be grateful for the space and quiet.

can i suggest not having it the same weekend as the SCA huge event on the south island? is that possible? just cause i know people that went to that that would also likely come to kiwiburn. [*shrugs*] just a thought anyway...

If we tried to avoid clashing with every event people would likely come to KB if they weren't going to that, while still staying in a part of the year with reliable weather, we'd never have it.

Right now we're working around Splore, Rainbow Serpent and Alien Nation to name a couple (not to mention Soundsplash) - all of which attract similar types to KB.

Not that I want to argue the point, but really, if people have to choose and they choose something else, it means the people who do go to KB are the ones who are really passionate about it, and for me personally it's more about quality than quantity.
