Ok, I stretched the truth, my friends (Former Associate?! Dean of AgSci...this knowledge was unknown at the time) only went on a 37 Day trip down the Thelon River, a long trip down the Nahanni and spent a winter in a small cabin just north of Baker lake. Plus apparently four other NWT trips. He is now retired on Pender Island. He gave the most wonderful presentations (he was stuck outside a broken down cabin, waiting for an airplane while a polar bear circled them. Also, a squirrel chewed through the radio)(He once got us to sing about his teddy bear that he brought him and took pictures of in different places: Beancy, the bear; He had hardly any hair; Do do do do do do. That's the chorus. He even got the adults to sing. I remember he always brought plastic wine glasses in which to drink his wine on a camping trip. High class.
Wow, I have such cool friends. If I was a Beaver(which I'm not because we no longer get family membership) I would be invited to their place to go canoeing around Easter and my other crazy amazing friend would offer to take us there in his sailboat (he is amazing because in the 60's he went sailing all around the world. Now he does stuff for management and stuff with computers).
