O h Happiness!!!
So I just found out that one of my most favorite books of all time is being made into a movie!! Its set to come out December 2007. And the main antagonist, a woman so beautiful and charismatic that people willingly do anything for her, so evil and manipulating that she can control most any being even spirits that feed on the consciousness of your soul, so ambitious and selfritious that she can do no "wrong", is being played by Nicole Kidman. Now I'm not usually that big a fan of her acting but I think that this part is ideal for her. It looks absolutely amazing.
Now for anyone who has read them and wish to see more about it read on For anyone that enjoys fantasy that has an echo of real life that otherwise could not be expressed in non-fiction I highly suggest reading Phillip Pullmans series "His Dark Materials", The Golden Compass, The Subtle knife, and The Amber Spyglass. I have read the books atleast twice each if not more and am on my third time listening to them on audio book.
