Gosh, Operation: Ninja Cat In Love almost failed due to my little brother and his friend, Will (who is also my friend but gets on my nerves every three seconds because...well, he does.)
You see, yesterday was Homecoming day, except I didn't go because
A) I can't dance, so there's no point.
B) No reasonably sane boyo likes me enough to ask or anything like that so there's a no point too.
C) I didn't really want to spend money on a dress I'll only wear once.
D) I didn't want to be a wallflower because I most certainly would be since I'm shy and rather stupid in the arts of the social spirit (Aka, I'm not my mother who would have ten dates to this stupid thing...)
and finally:
E) I bloody well didn't care enough to go.
It's was fun to worry about but in the end I realize that it would have been boring because I didn't have enough friends going to amuse me and I would have been stuck there in this dress that cost god only knows how much and watching people. How fun would that be? Zilch, zero, nada, nihilo.
So, I didn't go.
I DID go to Six Flags with Manda though because she invited me. I got sunburned.
But in any case, Six Flags in where Operation: Ninja Cat In Love took place. (Jay is Ninja Cat. I'm Panda Cat. Manda is Wild Cat. Sarai is Sexy Cat. Holly is Master Cat. Maggie is Godly Cat and Linny is...erm...I don't really want to say...Because it's mean and I'll get in trouble. So it'll just stay locked in my head with the rest of my garbage.)
You see, directly after Manda called me, I called Jay and said in a really quick voice, "Jay, Manda just invited me to Six Flags and now is your chance to speak your undying love for her! You must loosen those purse strings of yours, stop being a seventy-two year old in a sixteen year old body and get your groove on!"
There was a silence and then Jay said, "Trae, I don't want to spend thirty five dollars to get into an amusement park when Manda still remains totally oblivious to all my affection to her."
So I told him that if he had to pay more than thirty dollars, then I'd pay him however much he paid over thirty. (Fifteen dollars as it turns out.)
Then he agreed after some more persuading on my part, mostly having to do with the fact that he's not going to be spending much time with Manda alone outside of school anyway so he'd better do so now. And plus, with me there, there would be less awkwardness and Manda might be able to talk more freely with a girl than a boyo. Why? Because Manda's weird like that. But I love her as a sister anyway. *pets Mindy*
Anyway, so our plan was that when I got into park, I'd call him as if I were to remind him about the books he left at my house. (which is true because he left five books at my house that I was supposed to read, which I did, and give back to him. But I can't drive legally so he's screwed.) And coincidentally, he'd be at the same park at the same time because of some weird story or another. And I'd gleefully shout, "You're kidding me!" as if it were the biggest surprise in my entire life. And then I'd tell Manda and we'd meet up at the front gate.
After that, Jay would have his last stand. (He's decided that if Manda still doesn't realize that he likes her more than a friend or she's not into it and won't be for a long time, then he's going to give up on her and grab a new crush, who I'll probably have to influence too because he's too drattedly shy to do it himself.)
Sadly, after riding The Boss (my favorite ride because it gives me funny feelings in my stomach and my heart. haha!) we oddly enough met my brother and his friend Will, who then latch onto us like a couple of leeches and wouldn't leave us three alone for the love of anything! ARGH! It's was so annoying!
Jay sat with Manda on most rides, except when I snatched her for Mr. Freeze because I was so scared of that ride (I'd never gone on it before and chances are I never will again because it sent me into shock and I nearly started to throw up) and I needed someone to reasonably latch onto who could stand my high-pitched shriek. Which Manda could and Jay couldn't and neither could Nicki and Will didn't go on any of the rides either because his stomach was all weirded out.
The most odd thing was, Jay did everything but straight away tell Manda that he liked her or kissed her and she still doesn't know he likes her! It was so infuriating that I wanted to smack her! Jay says I'm the same way though just because Will kissed my hand and he believes Will has a crush on me but I told him that Will only kissed my hand because he's a gentleman. To that Jay said my world must be a very simple and fun place to live in.
So right at 3:20 I had to leave to go to voice and piano lessons, leaving Nicki and Will and Jay and Manda there. I kept telling Jay to finally hold her hand because otherwise she will still be oblivious but he wouldn't! (THAT MORON! *baps Jay with rubber hammer*) And Nicki and Will, as I learned later, still wouldn't leave the two alone so Jay never got to tell Manda and Operation: Ninja Cat In Love almost failed except for the fact that Jay and Manda completed one part of the mission: Spending more than two hours together.
ARGH! *baps all that attended Operation: Ninja Cat In Love with a rubber hammer*
So now Jay's Last Stand has failed and thus I have failed as well. Dratted monkeys! *goes to hit a wall* Now Jay's going to have to tell Manda on Monday that he likes her and if she says, "Sorry, I don't like you and I don't want anything with you" then he's going to have to find another girlie. (As long as it's not Resa, I don't care who it is. I just can't see him with Resa.)
