What's the worst thing someone could do?
Give up while there's still hope.

What's the worst thing someone could do to you?
People have a never ending capacity for doing harm to one another for whatever reason they think they can justify.  Sometimes those reasons are perfectly justifiable.  My personal fear is being left behind, forgotten.  I'm sure there are worse things, but right now, I can't think of one.

What's the worst thing that could happen to you?
Being separated from the ones I love.

What's the worst thing someone could say about a person?
That they're useless, without value.  Every sentient creature fulfils some purpose, even if it is beyond our kenning.

What's the best thing someone could say about a person?
That their world is a better place with them in it.

Are men and women basically different?
Oh this is a humanoid questionnaire.  In my experience, genders of all kinds are built on the same framework, with the appropriate differentiations required for reproductive diversity.

Which is better, to be a woman or to be a man?
I rather like being female.  I wouldn't say it's better.  I've never been a man.

What can men do that women can't do?
That depends entirely on the man and the woman, doesn't' it?  In my experience, males have an easier time setting aside their emotions, but I believe they pay a higher price for that ability.

What can women do that men can't do?
Typically, bear offspring.  Higher pain tolerance.  Greater hand eye coordination.  Greater abilities at problem solving and iterative thinking.

Is it possible to change genders?
In the 52nd century, gender is closer to a fashion term than not.

How old is old enough to have sex?
At the age of sexual maturity.  Again, as mutable as gender in my era.

Is it wrong to have sex if you're unmarried?
Oh humanoid and puritanical.  I see.

Is it wrong to have sex with someone other than your spouse if you're married?
That depends entirely on the couple/triad/multiplex and their agreement.

Is it wrong to have sex with a person of the same gender?
What?  Oh 21st century, humanoid, puritanical.

Is it wrong to have sex with a person of a different race (in a canon that has a concept of race)?
~eyeroll~

Is it wrong to have sex with a person of a different intelligent non-human species (in a canon where this is possible)?
You lot spend a lot of time determining how other people are violating your rules, don't you?

Is it wrong to have more than one sexual partner at the same time?
~sigh~

Is it wrong to have sex with someone you don't love?
That depends entirely on the parties engaged in sexual activities.  I myself found it impossible to share that kind of intimacy with someone I did not care about in a very significant fashion.

What are the responsibilities of a mother toward a child?
Again, species specific.  It is my understanding that some cultures share the division of child rearing duties.  I suppose gender issues might influence the division of those responsibilities.

What are the responsibilities of a father toward a child?
See previous answer.

What are the responsibilities of a child toward a parent?
To keep an open mind, to be patient, to have respect for all teachers, to give oneself to the learning.  I believe we carry these responsibilities with us throughout our lives.  Else we stagnate as sentient beings.

Which should be more important to you, your parent or your child?
I would think one's child.  That's the whole purpose of reproduction, isn't it? The perpetuation of one's DNA.

Which should be more important to you, your parent or your spouse?
That is an entirely subjective question that I cannot answer.

Which should be more important to you, your child or your spouse?
Again, the child should take precedence.

Is it wrong to have a child if you're unmarried?
Oh this again.

Is abortion wrong?
Situation dependent.

Is contraception wrong?
Never.

Is there one true religion?
For me, science is the one true religion. All else are stories we tell ourselves to make it through the long dark winter.

Does a deity or deities exist?
I've met a few.

How important is it to believe in a deity or deities?
If it improves your quality of life and the quality of life of those around you, then I think that's fairly important.

How important is it to actively practice your religion?
As a scientist, it's more of a way of thinking than practising.  It is who I am, not what I do.

Does magic exist?
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Arthur C. Clarke

Is practicing magic wrong?
~sigh~

Is killing always wrong?
Killing for means other than sustenance or for the protection of one's family is wrong.

Is war always wrong?
Some wars fall into the second category of the previous question.

How old is old enough to fight in a war?
If you're old enough to understand the consequences and old enough to make an informed decision, then one should be able to fight to protect one's family.

Is rape always wrong?
Yes.

Is torture always wrong?
Yes.

Is theft always wrong?
In cultures that believe in the concept of ownership and property, theft is indeed wrong, even if perhaps justifiable in certain circumstances.

Is slavery wrong?
Yes.

Is lying wrong?
Causing someone deliberate harm is wrong.  If a lie deliberately seeks to harm someone, then it's wrong.

Is swearing wrong?
Honestly?  We went from slavery to swearing in two questions?
