I got my copies of TD, and GDS1 and 2 today. They are lovely! As usual with Jesse’s writing, things that are supposed to be clever _are_, and Milo/Star are always yummy. Rah draws very sweet cuddle/make-out scenes. Bai is gorgeous, Gibb is adorable, and the expressions she gets on their faces are priceless.

You're welcome! Question: how old is Gibb supposed to be? His behavior and situation make me think 18-25, but his appearance and some of his verbiage make me think 25-35. So I come up with a range of 18-35, which is a pretty big range. The way you've drawn him, I get the idea that he's supposed to be the sort of person whose age is difficult to identify at a glance. Such people are not uncommon, so I don't mean you've made a mistake; I'm just curious.

He's 25, and yeah, young-looking and mentally - not exactly mature, but educated and mellow, at least. Haven't made up a birthday for him yet. I'm thinking probably summer. He'd like barbecues and fireworks for his birthday.

Ah, so, on the edge of both estimates. :) I think Bai is supposed to be the mysterious character in the comic, but I find Gibb a lot more mysterious. I suppose this is because literature has presented me with a wealth of stereotypic things an 800 year old vampire could be doing/up to, but I don’t have many points of reference for educated, homeless young men. His willingness to explore his sexuality, coupled with apparent innocence, make him an ever greater conundrum. I’ll be curious to learn his back-story.

This got me thinking ... GDS2 ended on a major cliffhanger ... when is GDS3 due out? I'm nibbling my nails waiting!

Uh... right around Christmas? I hope? GDS3 is all sketched out, but I still need to clean it up and ink it, and between commissions and Metanoia, it's hard to find the time for it. I'm really sorry!
