I wasn't sure if I could have survived if the finale had been as heart-wrenching as Charlie's death. I was fully prepared for crying, but instead there was a bunch of WTF?
I don't mean that in a bad way. We were left with a lot of questions. Did Rowena realize what she was unleashing when she cast the spell to remove the Mark? What the heck did she turn Cas into (it's a hellhound in my head canon. Heh.) Does Crowley survive? If not, who becomes the new King of Hell? Is it demon smoke pouring out of the earth in the final scene, and/or something else?
But the biggest question for me? Did Dean reap Death accidentally? And what does that mean for the living? Do reapers still work without the boss? Without people dying, the world population and US population looks something like this*:
US Population Increase Only:
Monthly
Yearly
US Births:
400,000
4,800,000
US (Non-) Deaths:
202,500
2,430,000
Total US Population Increase:
602,500
7,230,000
World-Wide Population Increase:
Monthly
Yearly
World-Wide Births:
9,000,000
108,000,000
World-Wide (Non-) Deaths:
4,500,000
54,000,000
Total World Population (including the US) Increase:
13,500,000
162,000,000
*These statistics are wildly guestimated from figures off the World Population Clock Net website. Oooo! Look! Pretty table!
If these are human souls turned demon, this could be a worse problem than the apocalypse. According to the Population Reference Bureau, approximately 108 billion people have lived on Earth since the rise of mankind. If even 10% were sent to hell, this gives us a hell population of 10,800,000,000. More than enough for a demon and a half for every man, woman, and child in the world.

Sorry, I could help myself. :iz evil:
I did like the Ep 200 "Wayward Son" lead-in. Sam's Super-Duper Puppy Eyes™ were . . . :sniffle:. Last question: did Dean and Sam leave Death's scythe behind? 'Cause that could be a bad thing. Just sayin'.
Also, if I fall asleep before taking my meds, I have strange dreams. All I can remember is I thought Crowley was smolderingly sexy, and there was something about blood oranges connected to him. IDEK.
I'm also worrying about J2. They both looked tired after they wrapped shooting for the season, obviously it's taken its toll on Jared, but Jensen looked pale and wiped-out, too. There's talk of Season 12 and beyond, but with many of the better writers leaving, is it worth it to continue if the content, and the guys are going to suffer?
In other news, my brother and I had a blast at a sci-fi con out near
dolnmoon and
memoonster live. They were happy to let us stay at their place for the weekend, cooked for us, and might have scarred by brother for life with the talk of SPN fandom. Heh heh heh.
I bought some SPN and Star Trek art, and a lawyer!Sam Pop doll. I'll have to take pics of the art and post it.
I think that's it for now, I'm off to read reviews of the finale, and brainstorm for a summer fic.
