Is it the 3rd yet?
Two weeks from today I will be in Toronto for SPN con. You know how I said I'd never take Greyhound again? Yeah, I lied. The train trip was way too much waiting for the expense. 20 hours compared to 12 and even longer for the trip back. So the train trip will have to wait for the next con if I decide to go that route.
Speaking of which, is anyone planning on going to a con next year? I'm still undecided as to which one. It looks like the tickets have to be bought far in advance. It seems the Gold and Silver packages are selling out shortly after they go on sale and I don't have the obscene amount of money the tickets go for at auction. Here's an idea, Creation, pick two General Admission ticket holders and give them a Gold and Silver package for those of us who don't have that kind of money to spend. I promise I'll spend the money I save on photo ops.
I've decided I'm not only taking my digital point and shoot camera to con, but also my 35 mm film camera with the 28-200 mm zoom. The Toronto con room is supposed to be smaller than normal, so I may actually get some good shots. 96 exposures probably won't be enough, but still . . . .
Saw The Possession with JDM on Wednesday. Definitely worth going to see. Sir was amazing, the plot was good, and it had a suprisingly low gore content.
In other news, casting for SPN's Season 8 are being revealed, and I'm so excited about two of the actors, both who have starred in big name shows. Plus, Richard Speight Jr.'s movie Three Blind Saints will be released to DVD on November 20th.
Geez, today's the first day of Fall. How did that happen? Of course that means 12 more days until the premier. :bounces:
