Cas, Cas, Cas

I'm probably going to bawl my eyes out when I rewatch this, but right now I'm just stunned. I'd seen the back and forth between Crowley and Cas. "Don't worry about the Winchesters? Like Lucifer . . ." Little did Cas know he was the one who needed to worry about Sam and Dean and adopted dad Bobby.

Now I'm a Sam girl, and as pissed off as Sam was about Cas pulling him out of hell--and where's Sam's handprint, Cas--watching Dean's face when Cas finally gave himself away with the Superman comment just about ripped my heart out.

I liked the good intentions Cas' road was paved with. Dean taught Cas well. He's become Dean's brother. This betrayal hurt almost as much as Sam's with Ruby. He couldn't stand to ask Dean for anymore. I can totally get behind his reasons. They're the same as Sam's. I don't know if I can come to grips with the thought that Cas didn't learn from Sam's mistake. That Cas might have made the situation worse.

I'm not as pissed at Crowley as I should be if his plan is exactly what he says it is--keeping the status quo.

Cas is regretting his decision. He realizes his vision of heaven with peace and free will isn't going to happen. Didn't he tell Dean at the end of season six it was either one or the other?

That opening scene where Cas looks up and right into the camera? I caught my breath. I see many many wallpapers, banners, and icons coming from that scene.

Invisible stalking!Cas was creepy. I liked Crowley's version of hell. "No one likes waiting in line."

That's it for now. I'm off to read the flists' reviews then to bed. I still have tons of unpacking to do.
