I'm Alive, But...
Okay! Sorry I've been out of touch for a few weeks, guys. After I got back from our totally amazing and fantastic North Carolina trip, we spent the whole week preparing for the Hilty Cousin Family Reunion at my grandma's place. And that was this weekend and ended yesterday. It was REALLY fun, and I got to know some of my more distant cousins a bit better. ^^ Also, watched Blood Diamond last night. Very violent, graphic, and some heavy cussing, but overall it was a very intense and amazing movie about the wars between the Diamond cartels in Africa before action was taken against them. I don't regret watching it one bit; it was stemmed with the harsh reality of what life is like over there for those poor people. But anyhoo, yes; Family Reunion is over, and now I am back at work, 8-5.
And here is the really sad news: I leave for the Honor Academy in Texas next Friday. So I only have 2 more weeks to find time to hang out with you all and stuff before I leave. It's going to be an amazing experience, I am quite sure, but I will miss you all greatly. Internet access will be greatly decreased, so I don't know how often I'll be able to get on and chat with folks. So we need to hang out soon!
I gotta get back to work now; just wanted to post a status update and inform you of the situation. Drop me a line soon, guys! And to those of you who I correspond to by e-mail, I promise I'll answer them all before I leave. ^^ *waves and signs off so she can finish washing the office windows* ^^;
