So I was reading this random person's journal a minute ago, and I noticed that several of her entries were titled with some sort of food. And then she started talking about deep-fried ice-cream, and this led up to my remembering one of the finer food moments I've had. See, we went to the Bob Evan's Festival this summer, and they had apple dumplings, and I'd never tried one before, and...oh my word, I'm about ready to drool right now. Soooooo deliiiicious... I bought a bowl, and it was one of those cereal-bowl-sized styrophome bowls. The apple is cooked inside of this breading (thus making it a dumpling), and the apple was soooo soft, and the breading spiced and crispy-soft and delicious, with some scoops of vanilla ice-cream piled onto each bite and sending melted rivulets of flavor into the apple-y surrup it was forming...*drooldrooldrool* So delicious! I want one now! *cries* You can't even begin to imagine how yummy it was, cooked to perfection, flavored perfectly, the dough just crunchy enough on the outside and just soft enough on the inside, the ice-cream just right for keeping it from scalding your mouth while still melting enough that it didn't freeze you, either. Yum...
Raise your hand if you're drooling with me over this now! XD

P.S. Ever notice that I never do little random entries like this? They're always foreverly long. No wonder not many people bother to stop and read! (Shiar and songofthehawk are excluded from that list, btw.) So yeah. That was fun! ^^
