Christmas Update!
MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYBODY!!!
As my itty-bitty little Christmas tribute, I made a semi-festive Christmas Danny Phantom usericon for the occasion. Hope you guys like it. ^^
So this has been a very nice Christmas season, in my opinion. I got lots of nice, cool gifts, went to several very fun parties with friends and family, saw Night At The Museum (which is unbelievably hilarious and awesome, in my opinion!), and had a very fun weekend, in general. ^^ So now, I wish to give each of you a special LJ-entry wish of a Merry Christmas!
To Shiar a.k.a. Moonbay: Thanks so much for being such a cool Internet friend, for putting up w/ my procrastination with e-mails, and for sending me such cool stuff. ^^ I absolutely love the hilarious pictures you sent me in your last e-mail! And thanks again for the participation and mentions you've given me in your awesome webcomic. Here's hoping the new year brings you lots more viewers and ideas! (And hopefully more inspiration for the 2 of us as we try to finish our stories that we keep promising to send to each other, lol! ;) ) I hope you have a very happy new year and that we can keep up the communication for a lot longer! ^^
To kp_krazy: Thanks for being the very first person I ever met online who liked/trusted me enough to want to be penpals. ^^ You have been the Internet friend I've known the longest and the only one I've actually talked to on the phone, and it has been really cool knowing you! Don't let yourself get down just because you didn't manage to finish that Christmas pic this year. (See? I WAS over at your LJ recently! I just haven't commented yet! ^^; ) And on that note, thank you, as well, for putting up w/ my procrastination when it comes to e-mails! I love reading your stories and seeing your art, and most of all, talking w/ you about so much fun stuff! Hope you have a very happy new year!
To Scinfaxi: Thanks for commenting on my LJ sometimes, and for the friendly communication we've had, however small it may have been. You sound like a nice guy, and I hope you and Moonbay are very happy together and have a long, lasting marriage. Oh yes, and thanks for the submissions to my alien contest! ;) Have a happy new year!

I didn't have many real friends at school before I met you guys, and I've really loved hanging out with all of you. And please don't be sad that I grouped you all together; I figured that, since we JUST saw each other at the party, enough Merry Chrsitmas's have already been said! ;) I hope I get to see you graduated people (Kat, Kitsune, Azuresomniloquy) more this coming year, and that we can find some more time to hang out before the end of vacation! To Zzyllo and Rebmakesh: I hope you guys are doing well! Your comic is going great, Zzyllo, and I hope it continues to work out for you. I really like the art and the concept; not many comics about the supernatural are readable nowadays, but I really like how yours is going. Btw, I included Reb in this because, even though she's not on LJ, if you see this, maybe you could tell her that I wish you both a Merry Chrsitmas and a Happy New Year. I've been following both your DA accounts, and you guys have some really cool stuff up! (Lol, Laura said she told Reb about me liking her new updates, and Reb was surprised that I knew already! So, in case ya'll are confused, I DO have you DA accounts bookmarked, even though I don't have an account. 'Tis fun looking in on your stuff occasionally. ^^) I love seeing your artwork, which is some of the best I have ever had the pleasure of seeing from people I personally know. I hope you guys have a really good year.
And finally, to Everyone Out There (that means all of you, lol!):
I really treasure the friendships I have. I appreciate all of you who are my friends, and I don't think I could have better ones. Thank you all so much for being my friends, for putting up w/ my human faults, for being so fun to talk to, and for trusting me with some of your problems and letting me give my advice, no matter how unproffessional it may be. I hope you all know that I truly care about the people who are my friends and try my hardest to uphold these friendships, to not offend, and to give the best advice I can to help people I care about through hard times. Thank you all so much. And Merry Christmas.
And remember: Christmas is the celebration of Jesus' birth, of the hope and glory and salvation that that day so long ago brought into this world. I know that God is with each of you, and with me as well; and no matter what problems may befall us, no matter how bad life may seem at times, God is ALWAYS there for us. I recently heard something that makes a lot of sense: you know that phrase (or maybe it's a verse) that says, "Be thankful through all things?" It doesn't mean to thank God for the bad things; it means to thank God DESPITE the bad things, to thank him for still being there and for whatever good things are perservering through the bad times. God does not like the bad things that happen to us, but he can use even the bad situations for his glory. Life may be hard, but God never stops loving and caring for ANY of his children. One of my favorite verses says:
John 16:33 - I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But fear not! I have overcome the world.
God says right there that we will have trouble in this world. It's inevitable, because humans have free will, and many humans will do bad things that can hurt even those that believe in God. But we can still have faith, because God has overcome the world; nothing in this world is greater than him. He is always watching over us, he always loves us, and he will always be there to comfort us if we only ask him to. I hope you guys think of this when you face such bad times. Another phrase that I've heard recently: "Do not forget what you have seen in the light when you are in the dark." Just because the light seems so far away in the dark times, doesn't mean that the light isn't real. Have faith, and God will giude you.
Well, I suppose I'll get off now. Oh yes! One other piece of news: I am going on a mission trip to New Orleans from Dec.30 to Jan.7 with my Youth Group! ^^ It outta be fun; they went last year, and, while I didn't go, I am told that it was a lot of fun. I promise I'll answer the e-mails in my Inbox before I leave! *sweatdrops and mumbles in embarrassment about the build-up she has in there* Have a Happy New Year, and I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, everybody!
