@.@
I am soooo boooooored...
I feel as if the entire day has been wasted. Probably because it has. I did nothing today except hang around the house reading webcomics and watching Star Treck. I doodled a little and Mom showed me how to make Stir Fry (yummy!) for supper, but otherwise, no one was around for most of the day, so I was very bored. No Calculus homework to stress me out, at least! ^^ I COULD work on my Physics, but that's not due 'til Monday, and...well, you all know how I am, lol! XD
I feel kinda good, though. I actually finished a fancomic for Shiar's new webcomic, Basics. You guys should check it out! It's really funny. I was very thrilled to find that she loved the comic I made for her. ^^ (I'll reply to your e-mails this weekend, Shiar! JSYK!) I also did some writing today and yesterday! Granted, they were on 2 stories that are not main projects and probably won't benefit much from my additions, but it felt good. Need to get back to work on Ch.8 of my big Danny Phantom story! I really want to keep it going, and I want people to read it. Shiar, my one solid reviewer, seems to like it (thanks again, Shiar! ^^), but FBG has been a bit busy lately so I haven't talked to her as much about it (not blaming you, FBG, it's partly my fault for being so slow at replying ^^;), and it's tougher for some reason to send it to my friends who live around here; most likely because I see them at school a lot and don't e-mail them much, and most of them probably won't be surprised by anything anyways since I've described all my ideas in detail to them! *sweatdrops* Plus not all of them like or even know anything about DP, so it would be lost on them. My other e-mail buddie (I have 3, and they're all awesome; met 'em all on ffnet, you know who you are, lol!), she edited my first chapter for me, but she's been having some things going on that have my stuff on the back burner, which is perfectly understandable. In case it sounds like I'm griping, I'm not, honest! I blame no one for this; I'm basically just thinking thoughts that are slightly tinted with self-pity, lol! XD That's what you're generally supposed to do with bogs, isn't it? Heeheehee...
It's just annoying because, even if I COULD still post on ffnet, I wouldn't be able to, anyways, since I have a strong regimen to finish any stories before posting them! And this'n won't be done for a looong time, I can promise you that! And the only reason I'm feeling mildly off (I don't wanna say upset or depressed, 'cause it's nowhere near that drastic, lol!), is because I really like this story! I think I am really accomplishing something original here. The story involves no magic, and if all goes as planned, I hope to make it into one of the most original combinations of fantasy, sci-fi, and religion ever! ^^ In case any of you are averted by the word 'religion', don't be. I'm a Christian, and I'm just trying to put some of that into my story. Tryna use the idea I've always contemplated on if other worlds also had Christianity, what would that prove to people? It's not entirely central to the plot, but it's there, and you have to keep it in mind for some parts. Anyways, I really like this story. It has many little funny parts and cool action scenes, and I really love the main characters I created for it! As for the original part, trust me: I am pretty sure no one has ever done a plot like mine, fanfiction or otherwise! *beams* There is only 1 central character from the show DP (which would be Danny, obviously), and the Ghost Zone and ghost powers are involved. But everything else - settings, characters, threat, relationships - those are all mine. I honestly think that this would make a good book if it weren't for the fact that some very crucial parts of the story hinge on it being in the Danny Phantom dimension.
Well, I guess I've rambled on long enough about that! ^^ Just felt like semi-venting, I guess you could say. Maybe drum up some interest. If anyone who hasn't read it yet DOES want to try it, you know how to contact me! But mostly I just felt like talking about it. I'm in a rambling mood, and it feels good typing with my newly-learned typing skills which make everything run smoother! :D Yay for typing, lol! Less erasure marks than writing in notebooks (because there will always be erasing involved when I write.) XD
Moving on to a different subject! ...*has to think about it because nothing is coming to mind immediately* Oo, I know! Thanksgiving!
I had a good Thanksgiving. My big Bro and I went up to his fiance's hometown to help out with Thanksgiving orders from the restaurant Der Dutchman, a really delicious Amish cooking place. Basically, people came in to pick up pre-ordered Thanksgiving meals. All I had to do was collect the already boxed pies and bags of rolls! Pie is awesome; Caleb and I brought home at least 5 at the end of the day! XD The Dutch Apple was reeeally good. That one was my contribution; Caleb grabbed 2 of the many leftover pumpkin pies (the bakery goofed; before the end of the day, we had way too many pumpkin pies and had completely run out of all of the rolls excpet for a few batches of wheat rolls!); he also grabbed a custard and a blueberry. Then he gave the custard pie away at the Thanksgiving party we went to up there, and we left before the pie was cut, so I didn't get any. ¬¬ I was rather annoyed; I've never had custard pie. Oh well! And we got money! Or at least we will, whenever we get the checks. Dunno how much I made, but it was a pretty fun job! Over a dozen kinds of pies. I like simple jobs where I don't have to calculate things too hard; that's why I like counting/organizing stuff. ^^ They're fast and easy jobs and make me feel useful.
Moving on, we got back on Thursday night. My other bro, younger than Caleb but older than me, was visiting for the weekend, which was great! I love hanging out with Clark. On Thursday and Friday night, he and I stayed up reeeally late into the night and watched the extended versions of LotR: The Twin Towers and Return of the King. Oh my word...you have not SEEN those movies until you have seen the extended versions! :D So much extra stuff! Things you would simply brush off before suddenly make sense, like what happened to Saruman, and there were so many hilarious added scenes with Gimli, esp. in the cave of the dead mountain men in Return of the King! XD I was in such a hype that I set out to finally read all the way through the books, a feat that I failed at the last time I tried because I let myself get bored. :P I also fancied a hilarious, unresiliant crossover idea: what would happen if Frank Hopkins from Hidalgo (who is played by the same actor as Aragorn, heeheehee) were to somehow get sent to Middle Earth? XD I have an evil fascination with completely and utterly confusing my favorite main characters, a fact that I'm sure many of you know or have come to realize. As I said, the idea is unresiliant in that I have no plot; put I still love to imagine the look on Frank's face when he suddenly goes from stark Sahara desert to lush, foreign, mountainous Middle Earth (still riding Hidalgo, of course.) Then, on the flipside, he quickly runs into Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas. Legolas is the quickest to react, pulling out his bow. In retaliation to this strange pointy-eared blonde guy pointing a bow at him, Frank pulls out his pistol and points it back from on top of Hidalgo's back. I believe, after a long confused pause, the dialogue would go something like this:
Legolas: Who are you? What dark magic is this that allows you to impersonate Aragorn son of Arathorn?
Frank: Who are YOU, and where the heck am I?!?
Aragorn: (dumbstruck and thinking to himself) 'Why is there a horseman in strange foreign garb who looks like me in the middle of the forest?"
Gimli: (also thinking to himself) 'Why is he pointing that strange flat-ended object at the elf? It hardly looks like a weapon; perhaps it is some sort of magic wand?'
Yep...somethin' like that.
XD
Okay, I've had my fun for now. Please write yer comments, people, even if you just wanna say hi; I am feeling rather claustrophic in my house right now and would greatly enjoy hearing from some of you! ^^ But for now, I shall cease mine prattling and thank those of you who bothered to read it all. Talk to ya all later, mis amigos!
