Day Nine - Further Torture

Summary: ...Can I just say, "Tory tortured the girls and then had his butt kicked by Chase"? Do I have to go into the gory details? Sigh. Fine. They're under the cut.
Notes: Tory has a knife, a gun, (and some rope this time). His obsession?: finding exactly how much pain a person can take. He has different levels of this - step 1 is weaponless. Step 2 is the knife. Step 3 is the gun. Though we have yet to reach step 4, note that Tory will likely get aroused, and have to do something about that.
Summary:
Tree I: Lily moves into the forest, looking for the location of the caves, and starts off being pleased by the giggling. Tory flubs his introduction - as usual - and when Lily extends her hands he bites her knuckles, starting off the fun. Lily finally senses danger, and pulls her wand, but Tory pulls Marsha and fires at Lily's leg. With Lily distracted by the pain, Tory takes the opportunity to steal her wand and snap it, throwing it away and making her generally helpless. When she tries to escape, he ties her to the tree, and though doing steps out of order annoys him, he manages to use both knife and gun on her. He gets to reminiscing a bit, and talks a lot to her, explaining inadvertently that his obsession with pain is due to retaliation for the pain he suffered in the asylum as a child. Lily eventually crosses her threshold, and soon after dies due to blood loss, her last thoughts of James. Tory is - unsurprisingly - unaffected by her death, but it gives him an odd pang of guilt nonetheless. Oh well.
Tree II: Pepper recognizes the forest, the setting, and the giggle and she and Tory engage in a little banter before Tory tosses Pepper the knife, planning on getting her to torture herself. He pulls out Marsha threateningly so that Pepper will comply, and the sharpness of the blade shocks her and she cuts a few wounds deeper than she planned before she throws the blade at Tory, slicing his shoulder and taking off running. Tory is pissed, shooting two bullets and aiming for the back of her thighs. One - surprisingly - misses, but the other strikes true and Tory catches her. When asking where they were before she interrupted, Pepper says something that makes Tory think she thinks he needs weapons to inflict pain, causing him to stash Marsha away (though in a different hiding place than usual, because he wants Pepper to see him do it). His steps are all out of order now, as he nips and bites at her, and he's having memories of doing this before. He can see that he's already made her cross the threshold, and it arouses him. After a bit of overly rough foreplay, he rapes her. When he is through, he surprisingly takes pity on her condition, and knocks her unconscious before leaving the area.
Tree III: Surprise begins to dream and runs into Tory. At first, she is quite pleased, giggling along with him. But then he begins to crush her hand. Surprise does not understand why he is hurting her, and believes that he will stop if she asks nicely. But he doesn't. When she starts letting Talents loose, Tory gets confused and bewildered... and angry. He tells 'Princess' that she is not playing fair, and that she is cheating, but she insists that she is not doing it on purpose. Surprise makes ashes fall from the sky, turns her tears into wine, shoots Tory with an arrow and vanishes him into nothingness before Tory grows tired of the whole cherade and stabs Surprise in the neck with an arrow. He feels vaguely guilty about it - he doesn't usually kill - but she got him all confused and angry.
Tree IV: Chase starts dreaming and hears giggling - he suspects Tory, but has no way to confirm. He starts asking the other questions, and Tory incriminates himself without really realizing it, and Chase starts attacking him. The attacks have - possibly - the opposite effect than intended on Tory, as he gets a thrill out of the pain and continues to do and say things to inadvertently encourage Chase, though if the other notices he does nothing about it. After giving Tory a firm warning to stay the hell away from Pepper (one that Tory does not intend to follow at all) he knocks Tory into temporary unconsciousness (which he presumes to be death) and walks away.
Tory awoke lying in the ground beside the caves that he'd been planning on exploring the night before. A small giggle escaped him. Had he forgotten to go in? Sometimes he did that - it was really quite foolish of him, in point of fact. He hadn't really felt tired yesterday, but maybe he had decided to lie down for a little nap...
He stood up, and gazed into the caves. If the rumours were true, there would be people in the caves that he'd be allowed to play with. People who might be... responsive to his techniques. And others - he shuddered with pleasure to think about it - who might not be.
Well. There was only one way to find out. He giggled softly to himself, slipping into the dark of the cave's entrance...
