Broken comment is broken!

Okay, so now the four of them are inside the moonbase - ugh, lecherous men touching Polly. ::cringes:: HANDS OFF.
Actually, I think Benoit was just being helpful, though I can see how the cap used at that moment seems to point otherwise. These men are much more respectful and less hormonal than the ones from The Tenth Planet, thankfully.

2070?! Well, at least they've landed in the twenty-first century this time. & by then, they can control the weather from the moon - cool!
Even though we're not given a date later on, it is my firm belief that The Wheel in Space also takes place around 2070, and that The Seeds of Death is set a few decades later - long enough for rockets to stop being used as transportation, and for weather control to be transferred from the moonbase to Earth, the moonbase then being occupied by the T-Mat services (unless that one is a second moonbase). But I'm jumping too much ahead.

O, dear, now Jamie's been taken ill? I think I missed something somewhere . . . o, it must have been ( ... )

YES! I'm sure Ben was glad. ;) & hmm - you've given me an idea - perhaps I'll try listening to the first audio of the serial & see if my reactions differ from watching the recap - I'm thinking I'll do that when I get to the audios you sent me, if I can't supplement them with one of my DVDs or a recon.

Ooh, Ywo's hat! *dances around with it*

That sounds like a good plan. Let me know how it goes.

AH YES. ::flails:: I WISH I'd included that in my giant Jamie picspam, because I don't think I did! HOW COULD I DO THAT?!
*assumes WOTAN voice* Jamie's bare chest is required...

I didn't even take The Invasion into consideration when I was watching The Moonbase - OF COURSE that's how they would know Two!
Only now I'm wondering how the Cybermen from The Invasion knew him as well. *mind boggles*

& OMG, HOW COULD POLLY LET THEM CUT HER HAIR OFF LIKE THAT?! Her hair was so pretty long! It looked nice short, but she looks most ( ... )

::looks rather hypnotised:: I can arrange for this, yes I can . . .

(I think one day, we're just going to have to spam each other with Jamie caps & or .gifs. Because NOTHING is more fun than a comment party. & one with more Jamie? EXTRA YAY! :D)

I'll definitely let you know how it goes - I think it'll be like listening to a Big Finish audio in some way - I've NEVER had trouble imagining everything that's going on, even with my first ones. :D

Only now I'm wondering how the Cybermen from The Invasion knew him as well. *mind boggles*

Now I'M going to be thinking about this for days! Maybe from Tomb of the Cybermen? They were Telosian ones, right? That could maybe explain it?

The short hair suited her mod personality, I think. I prefer it long as well, though. *shrugs*

You know, I'd say it did too, but she looked so fab with her longer hair. (& I would LOVE to try her hairstyle that she wears in The Faceless Ones - I'm thinking of showing it to the barbarian & seeing if she ( ... )

But Tomb takes place in the future. There's an expedition of anthropologists who travelled to Telos in a rocket in order to study the tomb, so it definitely takes place after The Invasion (and possibly after Moonbase and Wheel).

I would too, but sadly with my bone structure very few short hairstyles look good on me. Polly's long hair doesn't work for me either, because my hair is too thin and fragile, and after reaching a certain length it starts to get damaged by its own weight. *sighs* The Polly look is certainly not for me. Peri's hair, on the other hand, suits be wonderfully.

I wonder if anyone ever wrote that . . . THAT'S a four-parter I'd not mind writing! :DHeh. And I'd ( ... )

Perhaps it's for the best, yes.

My hair can get a bit wavy (and sometimes as if it had a life of its own), but it never got to downright curly. Well, apart from that disastrous perm incident when I was 12, but I prefer not to remember that one.

OMG. I would . . . . have no objections to Two in such a look either . . . nope, none! ::fans self happily::
As for me, I'd have no objection to his face when forced to wear anything besides baggy trousers and suede shoes (or 18th century dresses :P).

O, IT'S ON THEN. :D MORE JAMIE!SPAM, PLEASE.

Ah, you're a lucky one then! My hair is quite thick & naturally INSANELY curly. I HATE IT so. When it's straightened, it doesn't feel so thick & I think, makes me look a little tiny bit prettier. & it's Polly-esque! (even though I was straightening it long before I met the Duchess!)

& hee, your perm incident reminds me of a primary school incident I had with my hair - for some reason, I randomly decided to cut the thickness out of it. According to the barbarian, I didn't cut any length off, just the thickness. I remember her discovering that the next morning when she was brushing my hair for school. & to this day, I don't really regret having done that! (to her, even NOW, my hair's practically sacred & she'll flip out if I talk of dyeing it or really getting a proper haircut.)

I wish my hair was thicker. Thin as it is, it's incredibly fragile - not to mention the fact that at the age of 17 I hit my hear on a drainpipe and as a result now have a huge silver lock at the back, which is the only part of my hair with some average thickness. No matter how I dye it, it always stands out from the rest.

Oh dear, now that's an inventive use of scissors. Kids always do that at some point (I did it as well), but it's usually the length that suffers, rather than the thickness.

When I read that, I thought of how disappointed he seemed to be able to see his face IN his pair of suede shoes in The Macra Terror.
Well, to give him a break, suede really is not supposed to do that. :P

O goodness! You mean it actually turned silver due to your hitting it so hard? O my, I hope you didn't suffer any serious head injuries!

::giggles:: I was a strange child & apparently, a vaguely clever one as well - I HATED how bloody thick my hair was, even then! The barbarian, upon discovering it the next morning, thought I'd developed some kind of disease, until she says I blithely answered with, 'Oh, I cut it.' ::laughs:: Yes, quite the odd little thing. ;)

(& speaking of cleverness, GUESS WHO JUST MANAGED TO FIC HER LAPTOP'S T KEY!! In a library, no less!! ::dances::)

::giggles:: Yes, yes, in all fairness, that must be said. But o, how adorable his disappointment sounded! ^__^

Don't worry, it wasn't strong enought to cause a concussion or anything worse, but it was strong enough to damage the pigmentation in that part of the scalp. I was lucky, I guess.
When the same thing happened to Cass Elliot, her hair remained unchanged, but the blow hit a certain part of her brain and suddenly she was able to hit the right pitch that allowed her to join the Mamas & the Papas. Yes, my brain is full of trivia like that. :P Anyway, the moral of the story is, the way a person gets hit in the head might result in serious injury more often than not, but sometimes it can have unexpected results.

And honest, apparently. :D

Ah, that's good to hear! I remember falling off a swing when I was six & incurring a large lump on the back of my head, which is actually still there, somehow. & I still remember how unpleasant the pain was. Ow. (I hadn't developed my rather high threshold for pain that I have now.)

Oh dear. Have you had it checked out?

I hadn't developed my rather high threshold for pain that I have now.
Well, children usually have a lowe pain threshold than adults.

I KNOW! ::PARTIES:: Now I can type properly again!

I haven't actually - I should have, perhaps, but I never thought my fall was such a severe one to warrant having the doctor look at it, but since that bump lasted ever since, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have it looked at just once.

& I LOVE MY NEWLY FIXED T KEY. It was much missed. ::nods:: & I'm quite happy that I managed to fix it all by myself! ^_______________^

Yay for the T key!
