Disney World, Blizzard 1 , 2, and Dating web site
So it has been forever since I have had time to come on here. Oh well, live journal never judges. First, I took a week long trip down to Disney World with my sister, her husband, and our friend. That is what the pics are of. It was probably one of the best times that I have ever had, but I think it might have just been more to do with spending time with my best friends for a week than disney world. The day before we went I had a cavity filled so it wouldn't bother me. While that is happening, the dentist goes uh oh, this is way deeper than I thought. You are going to have to go and get a root canal. But I leave for Florida tomorrow. So I took my Brother in law's vicadin. And was good for like 4 days. Then I had to leave Universal Studios to go get an emergency root canal. It was awesome. Because after that I was on lortab. The step up of vicadin. hum, maybe there might have been a third reason that the trip was so good.
Over Christmas we had blizzard #1, and got snowed in for 3 days with my sister at her mother in law's house. But I was happy, because she could cook. She is divorced now, so maybe I will marry her someday. Anyway, not to long after that we had blizzard #2. On my way to work that day I found my co-worker stuck in an 8 ft tall drift that went all the way across the road. So after digging her out and helping her home, I took the day off. The next day, driving to work was like driving through a scene of the day after tomorrow. The entire road was pretty much one lane down a snow canyon 6 ft tall or so. When another car came. You pretty much needed to stop and decide who was going to back up to the next 2 lane spot. We are projected to break are winter snow fall record set back in the 1960s. Ouch.
So, my friends have decided that I am to much of a lonely looser and got me on a dating web site. It is really wierd because I have never done anything like this before. I was only out of high school for like 6 months before I met my ex girl friend and we have only been broken up for a year now. I am not sure about this web site dating thing though. All the women on there don't acually want to go out on dates. When I first got on there I thought you read their profile, decide you would like to take them out, send them a message, they read your profle, maybe ask you a question, and boom, they decide if they want to go on a date. This does not work. Instead they just say, don't you want to get to know each other first? Yes!! That is why I asked you on a date and not to get married. Oh well, spent a couple weeks messaging one girl, then she randomly stopped. Now I have been talking to another girl for a couple of weeks and am waiting to see how long until she stops. It is pretty awesome. Maybe I'll just have my friend Jordan set me up on a blind date like he suggested once, at least then I would get to meet real people and have a real conversation. Or maybe I'll just have to be that guy who goes to the bar even though he doesn't drink. It seems to be that people that get drunk can find people a lot easier. Oh well, my destiny probably lies in being a loney guy forever. I guess that is my comfort zone, so I'm OK with it.
