Yeah, Locke's character change through seasons 3-4 was really extreme. He became so obsessed (like how he told Kate in season 5 - "I used to be so obsessed and angry" and she said "look how far you've came"). He became so caught up in his "journey" and fate that he thought even killing her was justified in his own way. (but lol, the same thing occured to me - they've all killed. Charlie killed Ethan, they've all killed random Others, and what not). You touched on one of the big themes of the show, what makes somebody "bad" - there's more to a person than just black and white. I mean, look at Jin, he made me want to HATE him in the beginning, but now he's one of my favorites. That was Jacob's purpose to bringing them to the Island...to show that they're all majorly flawed and were broken, but they do have good qualities and there's more to them than their faults, and came to Island to realize that and heal, etc.
But yes, it was OOC to me to for him to kill Naomi. For a long time, I thought it was future!Locke that came and did it (since he like disappeared afterward) and that would give him some reasoning for it but....I guess not LOL.
But yes, I'd like to hear about that person, if you feel like sharing. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable, but I would give my thoughts :) I think that not caring whether if some people died, or killing them, doesn't make a person "bad" at all...because some people defintiley deserve it. Like, I don't believe in the death penilty because I don't think that the government should say who lives or dies, but if somebody hurt somebody I care about, would I want to kill that person that caused it? Hell yeah. Kind of a hypocritical stance, but oh well lol. I've never really considered It much, but there's somebody that I wouldn't care at all if they died.
LOL, I loved how Sawyer became a bookworm on the Island :D To be honest, I read Watership Down after I finished Lost. I loved how he was reading a book about bunnies, and then later Ben kind of tormented him with the rabbit, making Sawyer think that he put the pacemaker in him xD
