Ah, I've been here almost a year now... was there something specific you wanted to know about?

Just about the main events that happened. The Smiths, Westport, right? I know some things, but I've got to write it down, and it's hard to remember everything.

I was here for Westport, yes. But I wasn't one of the ones trapped in town, but I did go over there.

Oh, in that case, can you tell me what you know? Anything helps.

Well, it's a long story, really. One day in the summer, a road opened up to Westport. There were TV reports showing people there, ones people in Mayfield knew. It was like they were living there as drones. When the road opened up, a lot of us went to investigate, but... the place was like a burned-out war zone. There wasn't much to be found. I know some people have some clues here yet. Though, most people I know who were there are gone from Mayfield now...

Uh-huh. Uh-huh.

[ Meanwhile, she's jotting as much of this as she can down. ]

What else was there? It sounds like the darkest parts of a soul, you could say. People died, didn't they?

... They did. They'd show back up in Mayfield, but it took a few days. In the meanwhile, a graveyard appeared in the park with the names of those trapped in Westport on them, trying ton convince us they were all dead. I-It was all caused by the hazmat men.

Death lasted longer? And they lied about it, too. Man, how awful. So that's where the hazmats came from, huh.

Ah, I guess I mean it was a few days after Westport opened that they showed back up. I think it took a few days for people to die, then they showed up back here, but I'm not totally certain.

However, it is possible to be dead for longer than a dead. It happened in the Soviet town to some people. A-And myself, unrelated to either incident.

I think perhaps the hazmats had shown up at least once before, but that was before my time.

So this town can control the length of a death. Hrm. [ She makes an irritated harrumphing noise. ]

I haven't heard of that 'Soviet town'. Can ya tell me about that?

That was later in the summer. We all woke up one day a-and the town had become communist overnight. As much as a hyperbole of Russia as Mayfield is of America. We were all forced into working and going to school for obscene hours, a-and the jobs were impossible. Th-They took people in for "reprogramming" if they didn't finish them. People got turned in as traitors and were killed, and as far as we could tell, they weren't coming back. I-It wasn't until the whole ordeal ended that those who had died came back. We just all woke up in Mayfield again a few days later, everything back to normal...

[The Soviet down was really hard on him. Crowe tries to cover it, but it's obviously from his voice shaking a bit.]

W-woah! That sounds even worse! You got killed if you didn't do your work, but it must have just been too much! Hah...lucky I wasn't there, at that point, it sounds too stressful.

[ Probably her worst nightmare, for such a lazy person lmao ]

I-I was pretty bad. After that, there was a man named Sergei Smirnov who got loose in Mayfield, from that place. He was hurt, half out of his mind, and was randomly appearing and disappearing all over town. Were you here for that? Wh-when the hazmats showed up for that?

Mm-hm, I remember that. He pushed me over. What a jerk, a spirit let loose like that...and the hazmats, I just stayed inside most of the time, which was nice and safe! [ She sighs. ] I bet the Smiths were behind this. [ She still has a grudge against Billy for shooting her, even though he's not the one to be worried about. ]

[It wasn't to safe for Crowe. The hazmats broke into his house and killed him twice in two days. He doesn't say anything though. It's in the past now.]

I think Lucy is definitely behind the hazmats, after that call she had made.

That girl is the most annoying human here. Although I dunno, she might not be human. Why does she always have to wake me up when I'm sleeping, come on!
