I think this story has already been recommended in several places, but I thought I'd throw in my vote as well. Written by buffyaddict13 for the Found_Fic_Spn prompt #4, which was in the form of a photograph, this is a magnificently intense story that takes the prompt and pushes it in a very different direction. I found the language of the story breathtaking and the ending paragraph one of those that lingers. It is not a light story, but the darkness is beautiful and the emotion heart-expanding.
