I saw an advanced screening of Hancock last night. Despite going in with rather low expectations I still came out of the movie feeling pretty disappointed. Actually disappointed is probably an understatement. As

Together we can make Hancock happen as the new fuck. It has so much appeal. Kids can say it in school and not get in trouble. You can say it on tv (though there might be some copyright issues). Wrt get smart, might be into a matinee on Thursday. The Girl wants to see it too. It all depends on how much progress I can make towards packing for our trip. Will call you up tomorrow.

we leave saturday. What time do you get off work? Maybe we can catch an early evening show. Can't be too late because The Boy is still in school all week.
Oh god, beware of Get Smart. It is not funny. I'm so glad I got reimbursed for my ticket in exchange for writing a review for www.popnography.com that basically ranted about how much it sucked.
Thanks for the heads up about Hancock. I was kinda tempted by the trailer, but now I will save my money (or at least maybe see Hulk instead).
definitely see Hulk! Saw it this past weekend and was not disappointed. It isn't a thinker or anything, but it delivers exactly what I have come to expect of super hero movies. Marvel studios is my new boyfriend. Ed Norton does a great job as an introspective David Banner without being too broody. Also, Liv Tyler is HOT! I think this is Stan Lee's funniest cameo in a Marvel pic and also look for a cameo by Lou Ferigno and a brief (if you blink you'll miss it!) cameo by Bill Bixby. side note: when I was a kid I always got confused and thought Bill Bixby was Hulk's alter-ego. It sounds so much more like a superhero name than David Banner to me.
