My car got impounded. Damned street cleaning. I swear I didn't even see the sign. I don't think it's worth it to try to get it out of impound. The fees probably already exceed the value of the car. I guess I should be thankful at least that it is just one less thing that I have to deal with disposing of. Still, damn!
Up until that point it had been a pretty good day.
***eta: I am pretty sure that the $300 dollars that it would take to get it back (& that's if I got it out right now) exceeds the value of the car. I guess it was just time to let it go.***
