1st Day of Teaching (Officially)
I'm sitting at work right now, going through my computer's music. The people before me really liked techno and I'm loving this new exposure. I had a fairly limited source before. European techno is so much better! I'm also preparing for my first kids class today. I've already had 2 private lessons. One of the guys was 17 and the other is in his 30s. I get a lot of variety which is perfect. I will learn for sure exactly who I want to be teaching. I didn't wind up having any classes yesterday officially, but Joesph gave me one of his. It was sooo great. I absolutely love teaching. I also moved into my new apartment which is fabulous. It's really big and bizarre. There are sliding doors everywhere, like in Japan. The washing machine plays jingle bells when it turns on and off (another novelty that never ceases to amuse me) and it has AC!!! It's sooo hot here right now. It's like I chased the summer across the world. Hot for me at least, most of you would be loving the weather.
