Hello my lovely flisters and random visitors. After three days of having an excruciating headache and kind of just sucking it up, I am beginning to feel better. And so, while I sit here at work and probably am going to have nothing to do all day, I will update this sucker for the benefit of those that waste their time reading it.

My birthday was Saturday the 22nd, and the celebration began Friday. Jillian came over and we had some wine and chatted it up and watched Lost, and then we went and stole Matt and went to Sonar with Margaret. It was an okay night, although it was freezing cold and raining, and besides was in the small room, and the DJ kind of sucked. But I had fun dancing, so it was fine.

Saturday, my friend Jen from home had come up the night before and we went to IHOP and got some food, and then waited around for my big sister Allie to arrive, which took way less time than it should have because I guess she drives kind of... uhm.. well like a maniac. A safe one though ;)
We headed to Jillian's, and then to the Harbor, where Jillian, Margaret, Justin, Matt, Jon P., Jen, and Allison all joined me at the MD Science Center. I had a lot of fun and I hope that they did too, although I think it isn't possible for people to be as silly as I was, but I did hang with Jen a lot which was fantastic.
Then we went to Uno's and ate way too much food, and the waitress called everyone "sweetie" and was annoying, but she served well. Then we went to Margaret's, where Jen passed out, Allie and I conversed, and the ladies smoked about 17 packs of cigarettes and chilled in the kitchen. hehe...
We then went to the 13th floor, a bar in the Belvedere Hotel, and I had fun listening to the salsa music and dancing and chilling. My sister bought me a margarita, and that was about all I had to drink, because my stomach has been awful lately. So, no, stop asking me if I got wasted on my birthday, I didn't. ;) The 13th floor was fun, although Kevin didn't come out and I missed him.

I got pretty presents from everyone, freshwater pearl bracelets from Julie, which are lovely, pearls and a dvd and a cd from Matt, who works at Best Buy so the cd/dvd was expected sort of, but I really love the earrings he bought me from Anthropologie, even in Julie did help him ;). then Jillian bought me a lovely bird artwork (this one) and also a bottle of wine, and an L for L'orange (or Lauren) from Anthro. Margaret bought me a pretty journal and wine glasses that are really sturdy and nice, and all in all it was quite a nice birthday, and the best I've had at college, hands down. From Aunt Chris I got a necklace/earring set from the Limited and a card, and mom and Grandma sent me money, along with a flower cake for my birthday.

Sunday, Jillian and I went to Paper Moon and were crazily silly for a few hours for supper, and Monday was chorus, and the prof didn't freak out so it was nice, although all morning and some of sunday night I had this migraine that kind of made my head want to explode. Tuesday became winter, and it was 47 degrees and I was freezing all day, and I went errand running and to get dinner with Julie, and I had a really terrific night hanging out with Matt, but then, I usually do, and I got to bed a little too late, but slept happily. Matt's terrific, just so everyone knows. Today I sit at work with the space heater warming my bottom half but doing nothing from the waist up, and my hands are freezing. Luckily I have a ton of stuff to do, so I will hopefully warm my hands by working. Then class and allergy shots, and the union for some money for the program tomorrow, and figuring out everything I need for the program, and then an in-service at 7pm, and then hopefully getting to bed at some reasonable hour. My life is not very exciting, but I'm quite content with it at the moment, and so, adieu, I'll post again soon.
