Oh what a beautiful morning...
Today has been pretty awesome.
Highlight: I got to run a chainsaw.
Maybe this is the overly manly side of me talking but, dang I like cutting things down with loud machinery. Except when bits of sawdust get in your eye. Then the whole thing is just kind of evil.
Second Highlight: The weather.
Cool, but not cold. Sunny, but not glaring. Breezy, but not gale force winds.
I love working outside on days like this.
Third Highlight: DOGS!!!
The house we were landscaping today had two Awesome Dogs in the back yard. One was this super sweet Black Lab. He reminded me of the Golden Lab I grew up with... such a nice dog. And the other one, dang. This little guy was beyond hyperactive. I think he was some sort of Collie/Caffeine mix. All day long he was running around in these paths that he had worn into the grass. It was so funny to watch him do lap after lap. Once I got him to hold still we played some fetch... the Yankees need to get this dog in to give some fielding training. This pup was picking everything out of the air. Jumping, diving, scooting around. It was so cool. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.
I miss my dog. =)
And that brings me to... here.
I think the boys and I are doing something tonight. We'll have to see what happens.
