At last
At last my agenda for this summer is finally starting to fall into place. Once my friend Dorthy and I find a place for this fall, my friend Arynne is going to live in my room over the summer so I don't have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for some place where I'm not going to be living. I finally received all the funds for my grant so I can buy my plane ticket to Peru and pay off CIPS, and after much frantic searching I found a fax machine so I was able turn in the last part of my application for the Duke TIP program this summer. So it looks like things might work out after all (knocks on wood). My mother is also coming to NOLA next week with her new boy friend who I have dubbed "Uncle Fester" which I suppose is only appropriate considering her last name is Addams.
