WHO: Yu Kanda and Daisya Barry
WHAT: Tired of fighting, tired of dealing with these unwanted emotions, Kanda takes an alternate approach to fending off the Call.
WHERE: Exorcist's home
WHEN: Dead of night, Day 43.
Honestly, Kanda didn't want to do it. The Call was terribly persistent, but right now, that was not what was on his mind. It was the only solution he could think of. The only way that would make them see.
Was it sort of like submitting? Doing this?
He wouldn't touch Lenalee. That much he would refuse. The dream she had would be too much for her. And then there was Daisya. If he were to go through with this with Lenalee, Daisya would also completely break.
Daisya was going to have to be the one. That's all there was to it. Lenalee would probably freak out at first, but she could learn to deal. And it would be a much more effective way to protect her without worrying about Daisya, too.
As smooth as moonlight, Kanda leaped from rooftop to rooftop, and in one fluid jump, landing on the windowsill to Daisya's room on the second floor. The glass of the broken window had long since been cleared away from their fight when Kanda came in here to keep Daisya from going crazy about the blood. And yet, Kanda had been the one to change.
It was stupidly ironic.
Silently, Kanda stalked into the room, eyes glowing in the darkness as he approached Daisya's sleeping form on the bed. He could hear the soft breathing, and he had to admit, his heart ached slightly from everything that had happened.
But it'll be all right now. After tonight, things will be much different.
His throat began to vibrate as Kanda worked up a low, rumbling purr, tail lifting as he leaned over and rubbed his nose against Daisya's cheek, even letting his tongue flick across the soft skin.
