WHO: Cloud Strife & Yu Kanda.
WHAT: Cloud has been in hiding for about a week and he's finally run out of supplies, so decides to run out when no one's around.
WHERE: The streets of the market district.
WHEN: ...LOL LIKE, 1AM.
The past week had been rather hard on Cloud. He had isolated himself from everyone and everything, hiding away in a place he knew no one would find him... and up until two nights ago, Cloud had been experiencing insomnia. But even then he was not getting as much sleep as he used to.
To be honest, Cloud was starting to calm down a little. But that didn't mean he was anywhere near ready to face his friends again.
And so, he chose an hour late into the night to leave for supplies. The blond moved carefully through the streets, tattered red cloak trailing behind him, and found himself very thankful to finally locate a 24-hour store. There he gathered up enough food and bandages for about another week and left with the two bags in hand. Stepping out onto the sidewalk, Cloud paused. Vivid blue eyes looked around for a brief moment, as if checking to make sure no one was around, before finally heading back down the street in the direction he had come.
He didn't think he had been quite this paranoid to go out in public before.
