Short and succinct. Larsa looked at the note in his palm, knowing immediately who had written it before he noticed the initials. Instead of his elegant, formal attire, the boy opted for a more casual appearance. He did not know if danger would be involved, and blending in with the civilian population was good advice he followed over and over again.

Small fingers wrapped the precious vial in some cloth to protect it, and he placed it into his satchel along with a decanted vial of Elixir just in case. The familiar glow the bottles emanated soothed him with their familiarity. Making sure all was well, he locked his room and headed for the house directed on the note.

There he stood outside and knocked politely.
"Mr Kent?"

Bruce moved to the door silently upon hearing Larsa's voice and his knock. opening the door with a single motion, he moved with the door in able to stay out of sight, though his voice bid Larsa enter.

"Come in."

Leading Larsa effortlessly through the house, bereft of his cane, Bruce moved to a room with better light-- a living room-- still within earshot of the entrance. He didn't bother with any candles or other forms of artificial lighting. He didn't need them, and they added to the relatively uninhabited look of the house.

"The others haven't arrived yet. We should wait for them, and experiment to see if the combined efforts of various different effects might overwhelm the magic of the crystal, though I doubt they will."

The note on his door was...definitely different and new. Peter was so used to his digital world: text messages, emails, phone calls. Only bills and junk were sent in through the mail. There were directions on the slip of paper too - very odd - and was signed by CK. At first, Peter had no idea. He turned the paper over in his hands, trying to find some clue, then searched through his mind for people he knew. At last it clicked.

Clark Kent.

Grabbing his boots and satchel, Peter immediately set out to seek the man's house. It took him close to a half hour to finally reach the place.

With hesitance, he knocked on the door.

Hearing the knock, Bruce motioned for Larsa to stay put as he moved to the door, taking up his cane as he reached it. Unlike Larsa, Peter had not announced himself, and while he knew that it should only be the three he had left the notes at, there were others at the houses, and there was always the random chance that it could be an enemy.

In a low voice, quiet but commanding, Batman whispered through the door.

"Who is it?"

Why was he whispering? Was he hurt?

"Um. It's Peter. Peter Petrelli," he answered, standing awkwardly in front of the closed door. He fidgeted with his satchel, biting his lip, and looking up and down the street for anyone else.
