WHO: Shinomori Aoshi, Okita Souji
WHAT: A tea ceremony, but really Aoshi's way of attempting to be slightly more personable.
WHERE: Meet up at the docks, and move to the park.
WHEN: Late morning, early afternoon.
Aoshi stood at the end of the docks and most certainly did not fidget. Ninja didn't fidget. Instead, he ran his thumb back and forth along the hilt of his blade, long sheath resting comfortably along his side, and readjusted his grip on the small wooden box in his other hand.
Why was he doing this? He didn't care what these people thought of him - they were all fools, anyway, the one's he'd had any sort of contact with.
And maybe that was it. This...person...displayed a bit more caution, a bit more respect, and that made Aoshi a little more comfortable. But, still... to offer tea? What was he thinking? Was this place rubbing off on him?
He shook his head, wind stirring his long trenchcoat around his legs.
No. He knew what his goal was - he needed to get back to Japan and restore the name of the Oniwaban.
And there was nothing wrong with enjoying a little tea once in a while.
