Today seemed strangely calm to the former sky king, not as many people were out and about. But it was of no matter now the natives here were really out of touch with the modern day, they were unaware of a certain invention. The wheelchair. Sora could get away with walking upright around them and they wouldn't notice any differences as opposed to him sitting.

It was the non-natives he had to be careful of. From what he observed from the journals and all over the city many of them came from his time (or close to it) and were pretty sharp. A pain in the ass really.

Thankfully the park was empty today...or so he thought. Sora slowly walked his eyes darting about, until he stopped, pulled the bill of his cap over his eyes and looked to the ground. A strange smirk appeared on his lips, it was only to bad he hadn't noticed the tall blonde lady close by.

Too bad, indeed. Teresa watched the young man (boy, her mind bit out derisively), from her position atop a rock. One leg folded against her, arm slung over it, and the over hanging down, she appeared deceptively relaxed. That thing he wore on his head, for starters. She thought it looked silly - rather skin to a duck, actually, and she wondered if the reason Galatea seemed unfazed by her lack of sight might perhaps have been because she saw such silly things when she had it.

Teresa wouldn't be too awfully surprised.

Something in the young man's attitude gave her pause, though. So many different tempers running about this island, frantic little ants, that she couldn't quite bother herself to hold them all in her interest. Alone, though, this one seemed more likely entertainment. "Enjoying the day?" she asked, almost cordial.

[Ahhh I am so sorry it took me forever to get my act together with this, Cal! orz]

Sora stopped walking upon hearing the woman speak, he lifted his cap up just a bit. Enough so his squinty eyes would show and he finally held up his head to face her. The women in question dressed a bit odd, perhaps she was from this island? He studied her, (though with his eyes almost shut it looked completely different) the armor and the cape...and the large sword all looked out of place. On top of that she had silver eyes but he still stressed a smile for everyone's convenient.

"It's nice weather today, Gonna have t'stay out for longer than I wanted to."

A hand was in his jean pocket and he continued to study Teresa, his eyes wandered to her sword again. So she was a fighter. Sora was going to point something out about it but decided to save that for later. "Enjoyin' the day yourself?"

((That's okay! <3 Sorry for late reply too ;A;))

She shrugged. "It's a day." One of her eyesbrows rose slightly, faintly amused by the banter. It seemed like such a needless thing to do. A human thing to do, and once against she felt the absence of the child whose company she'd enjoyed. Desperate times indeed, that she'd resorted to making conversation with the duck-headed boy.

"Do you have a name?" Hopefully it would have less syllables than 'Duck Headed Boy'. She imagined that would get tiresome to say over and over, as might happen if the conversation drew out.

Of course, Teresa did not offer her own.

Paradise Blossoms, perhaps? fox_shuuichi March 8 2010, 15:32:26 UTC
Slowly, Kurama had been getting increasingly comfortable with displays of his power - no one had reacted entirely too badly as of yet, and he had been careful to keep any displays that could have been construed as potentially dangerous under strict privacy. But little things: helping the ailing plants out, or even growing new plants from seeds, seemed not to bother anyone too much - not that it surprised him too much, given the sorts of powers others had displayed here.

He had also been placing not a little faith on the assumption that no one here came from a world where the reading of reiki or youki was prevalent - and that any who might hail from worlds like that would not have had enough exposure to the demonic sort of aura that he possessed to know what they were looking at, even if they saw it ( ... )

Teresa didn't particularly care who saw her power. Always she'd been treated as unnatural, a monster - but a powerful one, not to be crossed. Displaying her power meant little to her. The caution of others was... curious ( ... )

[[OOC: Don't worry about it - just coming off hiatus myself.]]

The rather ambiguous tone was not lost on Kurama, and he looked up, his gaze cool and even. It would not, after all, be the first time his rather...unorthodox habits had been mocked. There were plenty of youkai, after all, whom he had left in pieces after they had presumed to taunt his delicate-looking weaponry.

Still, it was possible he was simply being defensive, so he offered a small smile - wouldn't do to chase off a potential customer, after all.

"I do," he answered calmly. "I find caring for them rather rewarding, in its own way. And certainly peaceful - which is pleasant in a place such as this."

Delicate was one way to pu it. Teresa almost might have thought it pretty, if she were so whimsical. Her gaze didn't linger on Kurama for more than a moment, though her silver eyes caught the sun before she averted them to the plants. Such friendliness lay close to amusement, his failure to take a few steps back or falter in her presence not unnoted. It seemed the people - humans, or otherwise - on this island were made of sturdier stuff than the ones in her own world.

"Caring for them." Her tone was flat. Ambiguous. "Interesting choice of words. What do you think makes one plant worth caring for another another simply... leaving to its devices in the wild?" Curious, she leaned in to inspect a lily, and then looked back at him with a smile. Her permanent, amused smile, as if she had a private joe that no one in the world could understand.

Boba slowly made his way through the dense collection of trees, vines, and other assorted foliage in the area. Despite being clad in his armor, his movements showed no sign of being hindered in any way. After all, it was almost like a second skin to him now after all these years.

Though he had yet to encounter any serious threat, the warnings of everyone on the island made his constantly keep his rifle at the ready and his eyes on the scanning equipment inside his helmet.

After walking for hours, his radar got a reading. With a quick shot from the grapple on his arm, he shot up into the branches of a nearby tree and crouched down. Leveling the scope in front of the visor, Fett aimed at whatever was coming.

It was funny. Teresa watched with disdainful curiosity, eyebrow quirking up just slightly. "Oh?" Her senses were all that of a yoma; hearing, sight, strength and power not all that was sharpened by the demon flesh that had taken it's claim of her body. The whistle of the grappling hook, metal digging into the wood and making the bark crackle quietly, leaves rustling, she could hear it all.

It was annoying. Napping with humans about, even quiet ones, was rather challenging.

Unperturbed by the human presence, despite the inconvenience it proposed, Teresa drew her sword and stabbed it down into the ground, leaning her back against it. "I suggest you find another tree," she informed the being, though she couldn't see it through the foliage. Maybe she could have looked harder, but she felt disinclined.

[Very sorry for the delay with this, Michael!]

Damn... How had she known he was there? He hadn't gotten that out of practice. The voice sounded like a human female, but why would one possibly be all the way out here? Boba cycled through the different visions his helmet allowed, stopping on one that incorporated concentrated radar to let him actually see through the foliage separating them.

She didn't look like much, but Fett knew that one could never tell the strength of an opponent just by looking, especially on this island. Besides, the sword she was wielding seemed to be of substantial weight, and she didn't appear to have any trouble with it. He really hated not being able to find intel on the inhabitants of this island except through occasionally scanning the journals. Unfortunately, he didn't recognize this woman from them.

"Identify yourself." He called down, keeping her in the sights of his rifle.

Without much effort, Teresa sat on the ground, back leaning against the very large sword that rose from the dirt. It was remarkable how little she cared for the voice that called out to her, as if she should pay him some heed. Teresa had tolerated the orders of the Organisation long enough. Enough of that, she thought.

"You first," Teresa called back. Her eyes were shut, and she seemed quite intent on paying as little respect to the person in question.
