WHO: Dick Grayson & Jilly Coppercorn
WHAT: A reunion
WHERE: Theirs and Bart's home | Batbase 2.0!
WHEN: Just as soon as his boat docks!

Dick remembered a similar scene taking place 3 years ago when he'd stood barefoot in this very neighbourhood, in front of a door very much like this one. He thought about it, and really, not only had it been the first time he had met the girl called Jilly Coppercorn face to face, but it had kinda been like their first date, too. The food, the company. The flirting. All that had been missing back then was a bouquet of flowers. Ha! And he'd said he wasn't really in the market for a relationship either. How rapidly that had changed.

In reality (Riveality, if you will) it had only been a week since his departure from the island, he knew that, Aisling had said as much, but prior to that, he'd been a prisoner in the castle cells for 3 months. And he had missed her so much there were times when it had almost been like a physical ache.

And now, amidst the plethora of conflicting emotions, he knew he just had to see her, hold her. She had lost too many people in her stay here, and while a heavy loss hung over him, too, she didn't need him adding to that.

He knocked their door, feeling marginally better for having slipped out of the Batsuit and into the lose fitting garments of one of the ship's sailors. He adjusted the duffel pack on his shoulder, the one that hid the heavy suit, and well, he looked down at his feet, at least he had shoes this time.

Still hadn't remembered the flowers though.
