Iggy...wasn't entirely sure what had prompted him to do what he'd done. Most of him did honestly just want to help Nill, but he wasn't sure why he'd offered body heat, of all things, instead of...a fire, or something. He was good at that, too.

Then again, all that time in the frigid ice and snow, and Iggy was pretty sure he'd picked up somewhere that the fastest way to warm someone up was by sharing body heat. Or maybe he was making that up. It was possible.

Nonetheless, it was...sort of an awkward and embarrassing situation, and Iggy was pretty sure the people Nill was living with weren't entirely okay with it, but he'd have to trust her to hold them at bay at least long enough for him to make an escape. He didn't think any of them could fly, at least. That was something.

He'd taken to the sky, wanting to get to Nill as fast as possible - only to help, of course - so he banked in and angled down for the ground, landing a little awkwardly, as always.

She blinked when one moment she was staring off into space, and the next Iggy was there in sight out of the corner of her eyes. Nill turned her head, tilting it to the side for just a moment before finally standing. The blanket still wrapped around her shoulders, hung over her arms so it wouldn't fall off. With her mug still in her hands, she made her way to the door.

Still shivering, but holding her blanket and mug close to herself to keep the warmth, she made her way out of the house to get Iggy, hurrying over. She grasped at his hand hesitantly, always careful not to startle him since he couldn't see her coming. Her hand was only slightly warm on her palm from the tea -- the back of her hand was freezing, reflecting just how cold she was.

Turning his hand, she wrote hi with her thumb on his palm, her other fingers wrapped lightly around his hand. There was a light tug, and she took a step back to lead Iggy back to the house. She realized only then that since he didn't know what the inside of the house was like, he wouldn't be ( ... )

He couldn't see her, that much was true, but he was rather quickly learning to recognize her footsteps, so the touch on his hand was expected, rather than surprising.

What was surprising, though, was how cold her skin was, and though he'd started to follow her automatically, he stopped, reaching out to cup her hand between his.

"Geez, Nill, you're freezing." He followed her reluctantly, still holding her hand in both of his, hoping his unnaturally warm skin would do something to help.

He realized the problem at what might have been the same moment she did, though his steps didn't falter. "You'll have to lead me around pretty well," he said, "or we'll have to move really slowly, so I can figure out the way."

Nill blinked when Iggy stopped, holding her hand within both of his.She didn't actually feel the warmth of the light tinge to her cheeks when he said she was freezing. She felt freezing, but didn't quite realize that she actually was that cold to the touch. Her hand squeezed his, and she nodded a little bit at his words. It wouldn't be that hard to lead him around.

She tugged his hands as she lead the way up the front steps to the house and back inside. Closing the door behind them, she looked up at Iggy before she carefully began making her way to the living room. Making sure she didn't accidentally walk him into something, Nill glanced around and looked back at him to make sure of where he was behind her.

Finally succeeding, she set her mug down on the table and turned to Iggy, taking one of his hands from hers and writing out on his palm; couch behind you. She tried to hold back the chill that shot through her from how cold she was, but didn't do a very good job. It made her wings shudder and the feathers fluff out for a moment ( ... )

He followed her, his steps slow but sure - he trusted her well enough to believe that she wouldn't lead him into anything - all the while wondering how she could possibly be as cold as she was and still function.

He sat down on the couch at her prompting, but he could hear her shivering, her wings fluffing in an attempt to keep her warmer (and at any other point, the thought might have made him smile), and he shook his head exasperatedly at her offer for tea.

"No, just...grab as many blankets and stuff as you can find and come here." He held his arms out, his wings extending as well - slowly, though, so as not to inadvertently break something he didn't know was there. This was bound to make him overheat, the way his temperature ran, but he figured it was worth it.

If he could bundle the two of them together in blankets and his wings, all the layers would probably trap his heat against them, and hopefully, that would warm Nill up - at least a little bit.
