No stranger to bars and their patrons, Marcus hadn't been too surprised when the drunk was thrown out. The man must have been to a few bars before, because he had seemed completely wasted before he had even ordered anything. So Marcus hadn't paid too much attention to the guy ( ... )

He hadn't--he'd rolled with the impact, and was already back on his feet, crouching low to the ground. Ken's face was obscured by a half-mask, hair covered as well--a distinct non-entity, the only part of him visible were wild green-blue eyes.

He didn't speak. He just glared. Sure, he'd feel it later, getting thrown around like a rag-doll, but for now he was too out of it to even care.

The woman looked between the two and took off.

Those eyes were what worried Marcus more than his inability see who this guy was or that the guy had nearly beaten a drunk to death. Those eyes didn't seem to be anything behind them, at least nothing that he could recognize as sane.

Despite this, Marcus just glared right back at the figure crouched a few feet away from him. He wasn't sure what the guy was going to do, but hopefully the fact that Marcus had knocked a guy unconscious with one blow would be enough to scare away any notions he might have about starting a fight. Marcus was no ordinary human, some might not even consider him a human at all, and he would have no problems teaching this night stalker a lesson if he decided to act stupid.

"You'll want to think twice about trying anything." The woman probably had the right idea running off, but there was no way that Marcus was going to back down to a punk like this.

"I guess you think I should have let that bastard assault her," Ken replied after a while, accent deliberately thick in an attempt to make his voice unrecognizable. He'd certainly noticed the strength of this man--kind of hard not to when he'd been flung away like a rag-doll and knocked out the man Ken had taken it upon himself to attack.

He snorted in disgust and turned to walk away. He'd need to clean himself off before he could go near Omi or Yohji. At least now he could go back to pretending to be who he was before, ignoring the need to fight for another few weeks.

Youji was in the mood for a dive bar that night, and Selene was being moody (although when was she not?), so he left her behind to explore.

He didn't make it to the bar. A man passed him and Youji could see he'd been fighting, even in the dark. If he didn't know better, Youji could've sworn it was Ken.

Holy shit, it was Ken!

"Hey," he called, to catch the other Weiss' attention.

Ken nearly froze, cursing mentally--of course Yohji would see him. What luck. Thinking quickly, he continued walking--maybe he'd get lucky, and Yohji would think he was mistaken.

He doubted it though. Yohji knew him better than that, and he was smarter than that. Omi would hear of it, and then, well...damn.
