WHO: Jade and Dist
WHAT: Dist shows another meaning of Dist the runny while Jade practices his artes.
WHERE: On the beach.
WHEN: At dusk, after the bath, on day 20. I am backlogging like crazy to catch up.
Jade had made his way to the beach with Dist in tow, trying to walk fast enough to stay a few steps ahead and therefore pretend that he did not hear the incessant chattering behind him. He sometimes wondered about his karma, as he was sempiternally the exasperated mother hen to noisy and erratic ducklings.
Maybe it was, indeed, his fate, from early childhood to adulthood... his fate to be the unwilling mentor of people in seek of some sort of approval who wouldn't shut up about it.
He walked almost to the edge of the water, the sand crunching under his boots and turned around, a hand on his hip.
"Are you ready, Dist?"
